The City of Miami is pleased to present the results of a collaborative
effort that represents a significant, far-reaching and historic milestone for the City of
Miami. The vision for Miami’s future growth is contained within the pages of this website.
The Miami City Commission at their meeting of February 14, 2008,
directed the Miami 21 consultants and staff to finalize the mapping
of the remaining three Quadrants and the Miami 21 Zoning Code. The
following is the result of this final stage in the process. The
Zoning Atlas for the North, West, and South Quadrants
were presented
to the Planning Advisory Board on November 19, 2008 for their
recommendation to City Commission. The item was
continued to a PAB meeting scheduled for December 17, 2008 at 6:00 p.m.
and then continued again to January 7, 2009,
culminating with a recommendation of approval of
Miami 21 as well as several recommendations to
the atlas.
The City Commission will consider on first reading the Miami 21
Code and Zoning Atlas citywide during a Special
Meeting that will be scheduled in the near
future. Please
