Transect 4, or T4, has the vitality typical of American urbanism. T4 consists of a primarily residential, mixed-use urban fabric through a range of building types: row houses (townhouses), small apartment buildings, live/work units, and bungalow courts. Setbacks are short with a streetscape of wide sidewalks and trees in planters. Streets typically define medium-sized lots, within walking distance of a town center.
